My Story
From 0 to 100
In 2021, I made the abrupt change from being a wedding photographer in Baltimore, Maryland to living on a Christmas tree farm in Bennington, Vermont. Fast forward to 2023 when my friend Nicole was getting ready to move her small café to a bigger location in town. In a leap of faith, she asked if I wanted to open a retail portion in the new café. And so etc. was born. After lots of hard work renovating the space, we finally opened our doors in May of 2024 as The Local & Co. In July of 2025, I had the opportunity to buy the café and officially join the café and boutique. It's been a learning curve for sure, but so wonderful.
